DR. KATIE GAULT
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
MBBS, FRACGP, RANZCOG
After a 2 year escape to work with Aboriginal communities in the remote Kimberley's, Katie has returned to the family at The Neighbourhood Clinic.
​
Melbourne born, Monash and Melbourne University educated, Katie is an exerciser, a nature lover, a yogi and an artist. She is also a broadly experienced and devoted doctor.
​
Katie completed her General Practice Fellowship in rural Victoria which had her dealing with a wide variety of different conditions and different people every day.
​
She worked at the Royal Women's Hospital and completed her Diploma of Obstetrics. This fostered one of her special interests, that of women's health, antenatal care and fertility.
Katie welcomes open discussions about contraception, sexual health, and LGBTQI health.
​
A Diploma of Children's Health also allowed Katie to develop another passion of hers in the treatment and management of infants, children and adolescents.
​
A keen listener and educator, Katie will take her time to determine what is occurring and help her patient’s understand what is occurring.
​
Enjoying the flexibility of GP hours, if she is not working she will be prioritising trekking new overseas paths, dancing with friends, cooking 3 course meals, and trying her hand at painting and pottery.
